The Met Office is the UK’s official source for aviation weather data. You will need to register and log-in before you can view TAFs, METARs, wind and synoptic charts. The site is free to use but additional features are for paid subscribers only.

This chart shows the location of various fronts over Europe and out into the Atlantic. It clearly shows ridges of low and high pressure and the isobars give an excellent indication of wind patterns.

You will find a temperature converter, density pressure altitude calculator, a cross/tail wind calculator, a weight converter, a sea-level pressure calculator, a wind chill calculator, pressure/distance/speed converter and much more.

This 5-day weather forecast can be set to cover any USAF base in Europe. It is usually very accurate. Useful if you are flying near one of the bases, or as a rough guide for the region.
